# Templates

A template can be used to create a sheet, as described for the [Create sheet in folder](/api/smartsheet/openapi/sheets/create-sheet-in-folder) endpoint and the [Create sheet in workspace](/api/smartsheet/openapi/sheets/create-sheet-in-workspace) endpoint.
