# Disconnect a tag from a project

You can remove a tag from a project without deleting it from your account settings by using the /api/v1/projects endpoint.

## Path parameters:

  - `project_id` (integer, required)
    The ID of the project.

  - `tag_id` (integer, required)
    The ID of the tag to disconnect from the project.
